Fire @ Walter's Blufff - Current Events

Today Josh and Jackson presented their newspaper articles for Current Events. Coincidentally they both brought the same article!! - so they ended up telling Room 9 about what happened together. We also got to ask them lots of questions at the end.

Well done Josh and Jackson for finding and preparing your current event to share with the class. You knew lots about the topic and were able to share it with us!

You can listen to Josh & Jackson's Current Events as a podcast below (by pressing play) or on our podcast page (click the badge).

Dear Josh and Jackson,
That was a wonderful current events podcast. You explained about the fire in great detail and the class asked some really clever questions. I will definately be playing your podcast to Room 18 on Monday morning as we didn't know about the fire and are always interested in disasters like that. The funny thing is that Room 18 also do current events on Thursdays! What time do you do yours? We do ours at about 9am and wouldn't it be funny if both classes were doing it at the same time! I think I might try and make a podcast of our current events each week too - maybe if we both did that each week we could leave each other comments on the blogs. That would be fun!!
