We are in for a fabulous year full of fun, laughter and LOTS of learning! We hope that you will enjoy sharing in our discoveries on this class blog which we will update regularly
. During Term One I will be teaching Room Nine how to do simple posts and add their thoughts to this site. After that.... maybe they'll master some posts themselves!A blog is short for "web log" and is like an online diary that is archived and displayed chronologically. Feel free to give this website out to family and friends (especially those overseas!). It is a great way for you and them to feel involved in your child's learning and education. You can also "Subscribe" to our blog by entering your email address into the subscription box to the right - this way you will receive an email informing you of when our blog is updated!
You may be interested to have a sneak peek at the class blog created last year with my year 2/3 students at Mapua School, we have recieved national and some international acclaim for our fabulous efforts! Having a sneak peek will let you know what our blog will end up looking like over time as we add more posts.
I hope to see most of you at our Kahihatea Syndicate "Meet the Teacher Night" next Tuesday. Until then... make sure if you're around school you come in and introduce yourself to me!!
